Events (11-03-11 Thursday):
ACM/SWE Movie Night (TONIGHT)
- Date/Location: Thursday, November 3rd @ E2 215 starting at 6pm
- ACM has cordially invited SWE to watch a movie, kick back, and eat!
- The movie will be Captain America! (free)
- Refreshements are available for purchase
Exploratorium After Dark WiSE Event in San Francisco (TONIGHT)
- Date/ Location: Thursday, November 3rd from 6pm-Midnight @ SF Exploratorium
- Fun and interesting exhibits indoors and outdoors about various topics of science: http://www.exploratorium.edu/afterdark/event-fear/
- Admission ONLY $10 includes entrance fee and transportation (special shuttles between UCSC and SF)

RIM Company (Research in Motion) SWE Lab Tour
- Date: TBD Mid-November
- We get to tour the company that takes part in the manufacturing of Blackberry phones
- Everyone is welcome to join, sign ups will be soon
Planning Ahead:
National SWE Conference in Hawaii (Feb. 29- Mar.3 2012)
- Open to all members
- This is will be a great opportunity to network with SWE members from other chapters around the nation
- We hope that we can send 5 SWE members to Hawaii, so if you have some cool ideas for fundraising let us know!

- We need to start finding company sponsors and future contestants
- If you know of a company who is willing to donate, we would greatly appreciate it!
